Staff were lovely, breakfast was incredible and pool facilities were very nice and very clean. Incredibly value for money overall, will definitely be returning. Exceeded my expectations generally, even more when factoring the price.

Room was big. Staff was very friendly even though they were exhausted (holiday weekend). Next to EV charger. Plenty of closet space. They had a room available last minute on a busy weekend. The following day there was a fun community food fair in the parking lot next door. They let me charge my vehicle even though they were frantically trying to get ready to start the fair. We loved talking to the people and listening to the jamming session downstairs in the bar.

The studio apartment is stunning, well equipped and very comfortable. It is also thoughtfully provisioned so that you do not have to go to the shops to get things for breakfast as soon as you get there. All essentials such as tea, coffee, milk, juice, bread and butter are provide. Our host Catherine was away for par of the weekend but despite this was very attentive and kept in touch to ensure we were okay. When Catherine wasn't there her husband was welcoming and was able to answer any questions we had and give us a good recommendations for places to eat. If I come back to Anglesey again I would definitely try to stay here again.

Excellent place to stay, super friendly staff and great atmophere in the pub. and handy for anglesey circuit.
You will hand over £184 to the hotel.
Make sure you ask for towels &robes to use the spa.
Also a locker key.
When you get in the spa,the jacuzzi you have looked forward to getting into, during your hard week at work.
Will be Luke warm.
A member of staff will then tell you its closed.
For no apparent reason ....
You will then get out&use the changing room shower for some warmth ,instead.
Many times the steam room or sauna will also be closed, or not working.
Breakfast time:- The staff will not speak &its difficult to get them to realise you want serving &want your order taking .
Be sure to ask for coffee ,because they won't offer&barely speak a word.
They will not offer to help ,or ask how you would like your eggs. They struggle to want to bother to fill the fresh orange.
Then, when the breakfast arrives-it won't look like you expected-think sausages uncooked etc..
You will be happy to leave the room key at reception.
Having decided to spend £184, somewhere you are acknowledged accordingly&treated as a guest .

I posted a bad review of this hotel because it was shut because of Storm Gerrit and they did not let me know.
I realise now that I was harsh and the owner has since telephoned and explained that they were short-staffed and because of the extreme weather conditions there was a failing in communication.
I shall certainly book again as it sounds lovely and I apologise for my bad review since we did not stay there

We stayed 2 nights just outside of Llangefni and only visited the town briefly. The reason for the visit was to go to Nant Y Pandy - the Dingle - to see red squirrels. Parking in the town centre right by the entrance to the park for a small parking charge, The boardwalk trail was very accessible although a little rickety in places. And boy did we see red squirrels! Up close to the boardwalk, total joy. The site has a volunteer squirrel whisper - William Roberts - who walks in the park twice a day now he's retired. He really made our visit with his friendly chat about the red squirrel population in Nant Y Pandy and Anglesey as a whole, we came away better informed and with smiles on our faces! William feeds the squirrels everyday at 3pm, unfortunately we were unable to stay for that. Well worth a visit particularly as we didn't spot any reds at Newborough forest and only 2 at Plas Newydd. Also walked out to the reservoir and watched the birds there. Well worth a visit.

Did not spend much time in Llangefni.
Did not spend much time in Llangefni. Out and about in Anglesey most of the time, but Llangefni is a good place to stay for exploring Anglesey.
There are 4 or 5 supermarkets for stocking up (Asda, Lidl, Aldi etc).
Thomas the Butcher for fresh meat and the Avondale Café does a mega breakfast.
The location is lovely the grounds are really lovely and the Building is beautiful, I booked this for my 60th and our room was one of the suits in the main part of the Hotel. I understood that it is having ongoing restoration work but thought I’d give it a go. I can appreciate what the current owner is trying to achieve with a building of this age, I’m sure once it’s completed it will be an amazing place to stay. The reception team are professional and friendly as are the bar staff and waiting staff.
The room was better than the photographs, it was super modern and contemporary, very tastefully furnished with everything we needed. A nice unexpected touch was fresh milk in the fridge, bread butter, jams and marmalade. And a large choice of tea that would grace most top hotels.
Oh and yes, the great reviews online are very true.
We will definitely be back.
Everything! I have stayed several times at the Nant-Yr-Odyn because it ticks all my boxes. Whether, trekking, cycling or simply enjoying Anglesey the location is spot-on! The new owners are delightful and with their staff, nothing is too much trouble. The food whether breakfast or evening meals, it is simply wonderful.
The Hotel is in a great central location and a good base for seeing the sights in Anglesey. The Hotel is well decorated, clean and fresh with a great bar area that is used by a lot of the locals and is a typical pubs for a town on a Friday / Saturday night. All the staff were great and nothing was to much trouble.
The full cooked breakfast was well presented and huge. Our evening meal on Sunday night was really tasty and there was a good choice on the menu.
The spa facilities were fabulous and we enjoyed a good two hours alternating between the pool, the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.
Room was spotless, location was great for exploring Anglesey, food was fantastic especially breakfast really set you up for the day. Big thanks to Lee for sorting a small problem out we had, and the staff for working tirelessly.
The location is what we loved the most! It was so easy to get anywhere on Anglesey! I don't think we had to drive much more than thirty to forty minutes in any direction to get to any of the sights or beaches on the island!
Super accommodation in excellent condition, lovely surroundings & Spotlessly clean. Loved the through breeze in hot weather, with the top of stable door and patio doors open. Good central location to explore Anglesey.
nice location. Easy parking. Pleasant staff. Tasty food, breakfast very good albeit slightly small portion size. For once a remote hotel with decent wifi. Huge window that opens wide. Generally a good looking hotel.
The hotel and staff were excellent and the food in the restaurant was first class. The only downside was there was no shower and the water pressure was very low. The staff were lovely - friendly and very helpful.
Ideal location for us, we were visiting friends in Llangefni, so they were less than 10 minutes away. Visited lots of National Trust properties and local attractions. Saw the red squirrels at Plas Newydd.
The location of the property was ideal for exploring Anglesey. The house was large and spacious with a private drive and well kept garden.
Host was quick to reply and access to the key was easy.
Spa facilities were excellent, very impressive pool for a hotel. Grounds were also lovely. Part of the hotel was closed due to ongoing work but that didn't affect our stay. Staff very friendly.
It's very good breakfast and the location is good which is close to the ferry. The hotel guys were waiting for us to early morning to check-in and gave us very clear direction......etc
